Thyroid

Another important equipment against X-ray penetration when imaging lead shields is the thyroid gland.
It is used to protect the thyroid gland and the bone marrow of the individual breast that is exposed to ionizing radiation. Like shielded lead, the shield has a lead of 0.5 or 0.25 and can reduce X-ray absorption by 90%.
The finely crafted lead shield covers all parts of the body and prevents damage to one’s health. Types of Lead Thyroid
